Label with the  A.I.S. IRIS  name, a black marker on one of the leaves is fine.

Leave roots if possible. Roots help stabilize the early plant and promote faster growth.  Always wash off dirt.

Clear Bags for easier sale, clusters of the same named rhizome about 1 cup? in size.  Tie the bag shut. Note that SMALLER iris have smaller rhizomes.

Sort by Type,: TB, STB etc so these can be arranged for sale.

There are those ,of course ,that can't be named.  Donate these anyway if you are clearing a section.  Iris need to be dug and move about every 3 - 5 years. Keeps the roots from strangulating themselves.
